Stone Scratch Repair

Apply enough Hot Stuff adhesive to completely cover the scratch. Apply the accelerator and immediately remove excess adhesive using a razor blade. Lightly polish the repaired area using extra-fine steel wool or an appropriate buffing pad to blend the repair with the surrounding surface.

The slower formula is designed to reduce the possibility of discoloration that may occur when some faster accelerators are oversprayed onto granite. Additional curing time should be allowed when using NCF Stone Accelerator.

How should Hot Stuff adhesive be used to fill a deep chip or gap?

For deep gaps or countertop chips, apply the adhesive in layers approximately 1/16 in. thick. Cure each layer with NCF Stone Accelerator and make sure the adhesive has hardened before applying the next layer. Building the repair gradually helps prevent the surface from hardening while adhesive underneath remains uncured.
