Hot Stuff HK01 Pro Kit Complete CA Glue Set with Accelerator and Debonder (HK-1)
The Hot Stuff HK01 Pro Kit provides a complete cyanoacrylate adhesive solution with accelerator and debonder for shop and jobsite applications. Hot Stuff instant adhesives have been available for 39 years and are used in stone fabrication shops across the country.
Hot Stuff adhesives apply clear and dry completely clear. Three available viscosities support different applications: regular Hot Stuff flows like water, Super T has a syrup-like consistency and Special T offers low flow with a honey-like thickness.

Manufacturer Questions and Answers
Do the glues (SKUs 16898, 16900 and 16901) cure without an accelerator?
Yes. All of the glues will eventually cure with or without an accelerator. When glue is held between two parts under some pressure, it will cure quickly. When left exposed on a surface, curing speed depends on heat and humidity. Hotter and more humid conditions produce faster curing, although the process is still much slower than when an accelerator is used.
Glue left on a surface without accelerator may take hours to cure. For example, adhesive used to fill a chip in a granite countertop may require hours to cure before the excess can be trimmed. Using accelerator allows the glue to cure within seconds so excess material can be trimmed immediately.
Accelerator should be used when bonding granite together for a countertop because some adhesive may drip out before curing without it. Although some granite countertop applications can be completed without accelerator, using it makes the process easier and faster.
Are these adhesives basically like super glue?
Super Glue is a brand name for cyanoacrylate, although the term is commonly used for many brands. Hot Stuff glues are cyanoacrylate adhesives, but cyanoacrylate products can differ in quality. Unlike inexpensive hobby-store adhesives typically used for models, these glues are designed to be durable and reliable for critical applications and are widely used in the natural stone countertop industry.
What is the difference between NCF Stone Accelerator (16913) and NCF Quick Accelerator (16902)?
NCF Stone Accelerator is significantly slower than NCF Quick Accelerator. However, it will not discolor granite as NCF Quick and other accelerators may do when oversprayed. Allow additional time for the adhesive to harden when using NCF Stone Accelerator.
When filling a deep gap or countertop chip, apply the glue in layers approximately 1/16 in. thick and cure each layer with NCF Stone Accelerator. Make sure each layer has hardened before applying the next one. Otherwise, the adhesive may harden on the surface without curing underneath.
