Product Description
Quick Change 2-Button Trapezoid Pads for Soft Concrete
Aggressive metal bond tooling engineered for efficient grinding of soft concrete surfaces under 2,500 PSI.
Looking for Quick Change Trapezoid Pads Designed for Soft Concrete?
Quick Change 2-Button Trapezoid Pads for Soft Concrete are designed to maximize grinding performance on soft concrete with compressive strengths below 2,500 PSI. Featuring a Yellow bond specifically formulated for softer concrete, these professional grinding tools expose fresh diamonds at the proper rate to deliver fast material removal, consistent cutting performance, and long tool life.
The 2-button segment design offers an excellent balance between aggressive stock removal and extended wear, making these pads ideal for concrete surface preparation, coating removal, and the early grinding stages of polished concrete projects.
Designed for Lavina Quick Change systems, these trapezoid pads mount directly to compatible machine heads, allowing for fast tooling changes and increased productivity.

Lavina Machine Compatibility
Quick Change Trapezoid Pads mount directly to the heads of Lavina X and S Series floor grinders without requiring separate Quick Change plates.
Please note that older Quick Change tooling designed for Lavina S, Pro, and earlier models is not compatible with the newer X Series attachment system.
Older Lavina PRO and SPS machines require the original Quick Change plates for mounting trapezoid tooling. These plates are not interchangeable with the X and S Series mounting systems.
Foam plates are still required when mounting Hook & Loop-backed polishing pads on all Lavina machines.
Applications
- Soft concrete grinding
- Concrete floor preparation
- Coating removal
- Warehouse floors
- Commercial buildings
- Industrial facilities
- Decorative concrete polishing
- Residential concrete projects
Why Choose Yellow Bond Trapezoid Pads?
Concrete hardness directly affects grinding performance. Soft concrete requires a harder metal bond that wears more slowly, ensuring the diamonds remain exposed at the proper rate without premature tool wear. The Yellow bond formulation is specifically engineered to maximize efficiency on concrete under 2,500 PSI.
The 2-button design provides excellent surface contact, making these pads a versatile choice for contractors seeking efficient stock removal and consistent floor preparation before transitioning to finer grinding or polishing stages.
Whether you're preparing a warehouse floor, removing coatings, or beginning a polished concrete project, Quick Change 2-Button Trapezoid Pads deliver the reliability and productivity professional contractors expect.
