Product Description
Quick Change 2-Button Trapezoid Pads for Medium Concrete
Aggressive metal bond grinding tools designed for fast stock removal and long tool life on medium-strength concrete.
Looking for High-Performance Trapezoid Grinding Pads for Medium Concrete?
Quick Change 2-Button Trapezoid Pads for Medium Concrete are engineered to deliver aggressive grinding performance on concrete with compressive strengths between 2,500 and 4,000 PSI. Featuring a dual-button segment design and a gray bond formulation, these professional grinding tools provide an excellent balance of cutting speed, durability, and tool life for surface preparation and polishing applications.
The two-button configuration increases surface contact for faster material removal, making these pads an excellent choice for coating removal, floor leveling, concrete preparation, and opening the surface prior to polishing. Designed for Lavina Quick Change floor grinders, they install quickly and securely to maximize productivity on every job.
Complete your floor preparation system with our diamond grinding tools, concrete polishing pads, and concrete densifiers and floor restoration products.

Lavina Machine Compatibility
Quick Change Trapezoid Pads mount directly to the heads of Lavina X and S Series floor grinders without requiring additional Quick Change plates.
Please note that older Quick Change tooling designed for Lavina S, PRO, and previous models is not compatible with the newer X Series attachment system.
Older Lavina PRO and SPS machines require the original Quick Change mounting plates. These plates are not interchangeable with the X and S Series systems.
Foam plates are still required when mounting Hook & Loop-backed concrete polishing pads on all Lavina floor grinding machines.
Applications
- Concrete floor grinding
- Warehouse floor preparation
- Epoxy and coating removal
- Concrete floor restoration
- Decorative concrete polishing
- Industrial flooring
- Commercial concrete maintenance
- Surface preparation before polishing
Why Choose a 2-Button Trapezoid Pad?
The dual-button design provides increased contact with the concrete surface, allowing for faster material removal and more efficient grinding than single-button tooling. Combined with the gray bond formulation, these pads are optimized to maintain consistent diamond exposure while maximizing tool life on medium-strength concrete.
After the initial grinding stages, contractors can transition to ceramic bond grinding discs and diamond polishing pads to refine the surface and achieve a high-gloss polished concrete finish.
Whether you're preparing warehouse floors, removing coatings, or restoring commercial concrete surfaces, Quick Change 2-Button Trapezoid Pads deliver the aggressive grinding performance and reliability flooring professionals demand.
