The Weha White Lion Quartzite Bridge Saw Blade is designed to cut 3 cm quartzite in one pass and 2-inch quartzite on a 45-degree miter in three passes. It also delivers outstanding performance on granite, quartz and engineered stone.

Layered ARIX diamond technology provides continuous diamond contact and a high diamond concentration for fast, smooth cutting. A patented segment design increases cutting speed by 35% while helping produce clean, chip-free cuts.

The 20 mm segments use a bond matrix specifically developed for quartzite, quartz, granite and engineered stone. The German-made silent core runs smoothly with minimal noise and is designed to resist fatigue and deflection during straight and miter cuts.

Suggested Operating Parameters

Quartzite

• Bridge Saws: 1,750 RPM at 40–60 in. per minute, depending on quartzite hardness
• CNC Sawjets: 1,650 RPM at 40–50 in. per minute, depending on quartzite hardness

Quartz and Granite

• Bridge Saws: 1,750 RPM at 60–120 in. per minute, depending on material hardness
• CNC Sawjets: 1,650 RPM at 60–120 in. per minute, depending on material hardness

Depending on the material, the White Lion can achieve cutting speeds of 10–15 ft. per minute in granite and engineered stone and 5–10 ft. per minute in quartzite. Monitor the saw’s amperage to determine the best cutting speed for the specific quartzite being processed.

Designed for Quartzite Performance

The White Lion’s bond, ARIX matrix and segment design balance cutting speed, clean results and blade life. The 20 mm segment height was selected for straight and miter cutting of quartzite while avoiding the risks associated with taller 25 mm segments, including segment breakage and contact with saw tables.

Because the bond is designed for quartzite, blade life may be slightly shorter than that of other 20 mm granite bridge saw blades. In return, the blade can cut 3 cm quartzite in one pass without sparks shooting from the stone.
