Looking for the Best Pads to Repair Quartz Scratches?
The Weha Donkey Pads are premium 4-inch hook-and-loop diamond sponge polishing pads designed specifically for surface repair, scratch removal blending, and finish restoration on quartz, engineered stone, granite, and marble. Engineered to restore color, gloss, and surface texture after repairs, these pads help fabricators and restoration professionals achieve seamless repairs that blend naturally into the surrounding surface.
Unlike conventional polishing pads, the Donkey Pad's unique diamond sponge construction retains a large amount of water, making it ideal for in-home repairs where water supply is limited. They excel at blending seams, repairing surface scratches after initial grinding, restoring etched marble, and recreating the factory finish on engineered stone countertops.
Whether you're performing warranty repairs, restoring polished surfaces, or blending countertop seams, Weha Donkey Pads deliver the control and finish quality professionals rely on.

Marble:
- Begin with the 600 grit Donkey Pad at low RPM.
- Work in approximately 30-second intervals.
- Continue with 1000 grit and 2000 grit as needed to restore gloss.
Granite:
- Complete initial polishing using a Weha Trio 3-Step or standard polishing sequence.
- Follow with Donkey Pads in 600, 1000, 2000, and if necessary, 3000 or 6000 grit until the repaired area blends into the surrounding polish.
Why Choose Weha Donkey Pads?
Surface repair requires more than simply polishing a scratch—it requires recreating the original factory finish so the repair becomes virtually invisible. Weha Donkey Pads were developed specifically for this purpose, allowing fabricators to restore gloss, texture, and color without over-polishing or creating noticeable repair areas.
The unique diamond sponge construction carries more water than conventional polishing pads, making them especially valuable for in-home repairs where water availability is limited. Combined with low operating speeds and a carefully engineered grit progression, the Donkey Pads provide exceptional control for precision repair work.
Whether you're restoring engineered stone countertops, removing marble etch marks, or blending repaired granite seams, Weha Donkey Pads help achieve professional results with confidence.
