Weha Blitz Dry Core Bit, 1-1/4"

High-speed diamond core bit for drilling faucet holes and other openings in natural stone, engineered stone and concrete countertops.

The Weha Blitz Dry Core Bit features high-diamond-content segments and double vacuum-brazed diamonds on both the inside and outside of the barrel. This design reduces drag, heat and friction while promoting fast drilling and easier removal of the stone core.

When operated at 10,000 RPM, the bit can drill through 3 cm Uba Tuba granite in less than 30 seconds. Its fully exposed diamonds bite into the stone immediately, helping prevent the bit from walking when drilling begins.

The exterior diamonds also allow the bit to enlarge openings and smooth inside or outside radiuses. This makes it suitable for faucet holes, sink corners, grommet openings and other countertop fabrication work.

The Weha Blitz Core Bit can be used dry with a grinder for jobsite applications or wet with an air polisher or electric wet polisher in the shop. Depending on the material thickness, stone hardness, abrasiveness and operating conditions, each bit can drill approximately 60 to 150 holes.
