Stone Shield Supreme Vinyl Ester FV-9 KG, Gallon

Stone Shield Supreme Vinyl Ester is a medium-viscosity adhesive formulated to provide consistent color from the container through the curing process. Its translucent appearance and tinting capability make it well suited for color matching natural stone, quartz and other surfaces.

The formula is especially useful when working with white, light and bright-colored materials, where accurate color matching is critical. Its softer consistency is designed for tight vertical joints and other applications where controlled, no-drip placement is needed.

According to the manufacturer, Stone Shield Vinyl Ester technology helps reduce callbacks and rework while simplifying fabrication and installation on a wide range of lighter-colored surfaces.

Viscosity and Application Control

Stone Shield Supreme Vinyl Ester has a medium viscosity rated at approximately 5 on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 represents a water-like consistency and 10 represents the stiffness of peanut butter.

For comparison, Stone Shield Knife Grade Polyester is rated at approximately 6 to 7 on the same scale. The softer consistency of the vinyl ester formula makes it suitable for tight vertical joints, miters, seams, repairs and laminations.

Color-Matching Performance

The translucent formula is designed to accept tint effectively and provide consistent color through the curing process. This makes it particularly useful on light-colored surfaces, where small color differences may be more noticeable.
