Raimondi Adjustable-Tension Pliers for Floors (LSPLIERF)

Raimondi Adjustable-Tension Pliers help simplify the installation and removal of spacers used with the Raimondi Tile Leveling System. Designed for floor applications, the pliers assist with inserting wedges into the supports and removing the supports after the adhesive has set.

The Raimondi system helps maintain consistent tile alignment and reduce lippage when installing ungauged, thin or large-format tile over uneven surfaces.

Installation Instructions

Set the Supports

• Spread the adhesive and insert the supports underneath and along all four sides of the tile
• Depending on the tile size, position one or more supports along each side
• Set the tile and tap it into place with a rubber mallet

Insert the Wedges

• Carefully insert a wedge into each support slot without passing the breaking point
• Use the adjustable-tension pliers to make insertion easier

Remove the Supports

• After the adhesive sets, separate the protruding portion of each support from its base
• Remove the support using the adjustable-tension pliers, a rubber mallet or your foot
• Snap the support parallel to the joint
