NCF Stone Accelerator, 6 Oz. (NCFS-6)

NCF Stone Accelerator activates Hot-Stuff cyanoacrylate adhesives for faster curing during stone repair and fabrication. It is significantly slower than NCF Quick Accelerator, allowing additional working time while helping avoid the granite discoloration that may occur when faster accelerators are over-applied.

Using an accelerator can reduce curing time from hours to seconds when filling chips or completing other exposed-surface repairs. It also allows excess adhesive to be trimmed promptly after curing.

Features and Benefits

• Accelerates the curing of Hot-Stuff cyanoacrylate adhesives
• Provides a slower cure than NCF Quick Accelerator
• Helps prevent granite discoloration associated with over-applying faster accelerators
• Suitable for stone scratch and chip repairs
• Useful for deep-gap and countertop-chip applications

Application Information

Allow additional time for the adhesive to harden compared with NCF Quick Accelerator. When filling a deep gap or chip in a countertop surface, apply the adhesive in layers approximately 1/16" thick and cure each layer with NCF Stone Accelerator.

Make sure each layer has hardened before applying the next. Otherwise, the adhesive may harden on the surface while remaining uncured underneath.

Accelerator Comparison

• NCF Stone Accelerator: Provides a significantly slower cure and will not discolor granite as NCF Quick and other accelerators are prone to doing when over-applied.
• NCF Quick Accelerator (#16902): Provides faster curing but may discolor granite when over-applied.
