Professional silicon carbide cup wheels designed specifically for controlled side grinding in wet or dry applications.
Purpose-Built for Side Grinding.
The Magnum Side Grinding Silicon Carbide Cup Wheel is designed specifically for grinding with the long side of the wheel. Suitable for both wet and dry operation, these cup wheels provide stone fabricators with a versatile grinding solution for applications requiring side contact rather than conventional face grinding.
Available in grits ranging from 24 through 120, the Magnum Side Grinding Cup Wheel allows fabricators to select the appropriate abrasive grit for different stages of material removal and surface refinement. The wheel features a 5/8-11 thread and has a maximum operating speed of 10,180 RPM.
Use only the long side of the cup wheel for grinding. Do not grind with the face of the cup wheel. Grinding with the wheel face may damage the wheel and can cause serious injury.
Always use a grinder guard and wear appropriate eye and face protection, including safety glasses and a face shield, when operating silicon carbide cup wheels or similar grinding tools.
