Keep-Nut Double Crowne Threaded Insert, 1/4", Each

The Keep-Nut Double Crowne is a press-in threaded insert designed to provide permanent threads in panels made from marble, granite and other stone materials. Constructed from stainless steel, it consists of a threaded bush, toothed spring washers known as crowns and a plastic ring that holds the components together.

Installation requires only a cylindrical hole with the correct diameter. Once the insert is pressed into place, the crowns engage under axial force and act radially against the hole wall to lock the insert securely within the material.

Keep-Nut inserts are suitable for ventilated facades, wall coverings, décor and interiors, furniture, kitchens, sanitary elements and other applications. Different lengths and flanged or unflanged versions are available to accommodate various panel thicknesses.

Features and Benefits

• Requires only a cylindrical hole without undercutting
• Allows the use of standard tools for hole preparation
• Installs quickly by pressure without resins or adhesives
• Supports hidden assemblies without protruding components
• Crowns spread the load into the surrounding material while the insert is under tensile load
• Internal thread stops before the end of the insert to help prevent extraction caused by an excessively long screw or bolt
• Available in different lengths and with or without a flange
