GlossFire-B (Toro B) Multi-Edge Resin Polishing Wheel, 5", 2000 Grit

The Superabrasive GlossFire-B, formerly Toro B, is a resin-bond polishing wheel designed for wet polishing multi-edge and bullnose profiles on granite, quartz, and marble. It works with horizontal, multihead wet-polishing machines that use the popular snail-lock adapter.

GlossFire-B polishing wheels help optimize the production cycle by producing ready-to-install countertops in a single pass. They deliver a better finish and faster results while helping eliminate scratches at the ends of the workpiece.

The GlossFire-B product line is available in 5" and 6" sizes with resin- or copper-bond options.

Recommended Polishing Sequences

5-Head Machines: Begin with 200-grit resin, followed by 500-, 1000-, and 2000-grit resin and a resin buff wheel.
6-Head Machines: Begin with 100-grit resin, followed by 200-, 500-, 1000-, and 2000-grit resin and a resin buff wheel.
8-Head Machines: Begin with 100-grit copper, followed by 100-grit resin, 200-grit copper, and 200-, 500-, 1000-, and 2000-grit resin and a resin buff wheel.
9-Head Machines: Begin with 100-grit copper, followed by 50-grit resin, 100-grit resin, 200-grit copper, and 200-, 500-, 1000-, and 2000-grit resin and a resin buff wheel.

Note: For very rough surfaces or deep scratches, begin with copper-bond wheels.

Recommended Pressure Progression

Start at 30 PSI (2 bars) and increase the pressure by 5 PSI (0.3 bars) with each consecutive step. For example, set the machine to 30 PSI when beginning with 100 grit.
