Better Bench Shelf Support Legs (BT-17S)

Better Bench Shelf Support Legs BT-17S are part of the Better-Bench bench-forming system. The system provides an efficient alternative to complex shower-bench installation methods and can be mounted to most vertical surfaces before or after the finish tile is applied.

Better-Bench products feature self-supporting, one-piece frames and can be used in wet or dry locations over any U.B.C.-approved substrate material. The system requires no additional waterproofing or structural reinforcement and can be mounted, filled with a sand-and-cement mortar mix and tiled as desired.

Installation Information

Better-Bench products are made from alloyed aluminum and supplied as one piece with hollow-wall anchors and wood screws. Fastening to studs, blocking or other framing members is not required. If a framing member is encountered, discard the hollow-wall anchor and install the supplied screw using an appropriate pilot hole.

Construction Tip: #12 x 2-1/2" wood screws may also be needed but are not supplied with the Better-Bench kit.
